《神探阿蒙第二季》劇情簡介：Former police d etectiv e Adrian Mo nk (Tony S halhoub), whos e photogra phic memo ry and am azing ability to piece tog ether tiny c lues made h im a local l egend, has su ffered fr om inte nsified ob sessive-compuls ive disorder an d a variety o f phobias s ince the unsolv ed murde r of his wi fe, Trudy, in 1997. Now on psy chiatric leav e from the San Francisco Po lice Depa rtment and working as a fr eelance d etective/ consultant o n difficult ca ses, Mon k hopes to conv ince his for mer boss, C aptain Lelan d Stott lemeyer (Ted Levine), to allow hi m to return t o the force. Stottlemeyer, who wavered between admi ration for Monk and annoyance at his eccentri cities d uring th e first season, is becoming m ore of a friend to M onk as the series develops, f requent ly calling him in to help , as much for Monk &#39 ;s benefit as for his own. However , he knows Mon k's limitations a s well as hi s stren gths and ma y still harbo r doubts about th e wisdom of al lowing Mo nk to carry a gun or subdue a perpe trator. Stottlemeyer&a mp;#39;s se cond-in-c ommand, Lieute nant Ran dall Disher (Ja son Gray-Sta nford), also seems to b e developing b oth adm iration and co mpassion for t he man h e once labe led &q uot;the de fective d etective ." Despite flaw s and in adequaci es all around , the three ar e becoming a n incre asingly effect ive team, wi th addition al help from Mo nk's p ersonal assistant. From the do uble-episode pilot th rough the first half of season th ree, Mon k was aid ed by h is nurse, Sh arona Fleming (Bitty Schra m). But i n the t enth ep isode of the third season , Sharona was replaced by a new assis tant, Natal ie Teeger (Tra ylor Howar d). Like Sharona, a divorcee with a son n amed Ben jy, Natalie i s a single p arent, a widow with a daug hter named Julie (Emmy Clark e). Unlike Sharona, Natali e is not a nurse but a form er barten der with a fres h perspective on & ;quot;M r. Monk, &a mp;quot; as she still addresse s her ne w boss.
