As skeptica l customers  are shown the g reed and violence  they&#39 ;re hiding,  one of the m snaps and k ills Diablo.  When they  run off, we  see the mur der to be s taged as part of the show. O ne of the cus tomers ha s hung ar ound to see this, and w ants to  make a deal  with Diablo , aka the De vil. A very goo d anthology of tales, w ritten by Ro bert Blo ch and di rected by F reddie FRan cis, for Amic us, an icon of this  kind of  movie. The tale s are u neven, sure,  but they are al l at le ast good,  till the perfe ct final o ne, the M an who coll ected Poe,  with Jack Pa lance and Pet er Cushing, a great idea, a nd a mar velous tale t o watch.
